Welcome to Robbins Auctioneers and Real Estate, formerly known as Tom Robbins Auctioneer & Real Estate Broker. Let me introduce myself, my name is Eric Robbins, and I am a second-generation auctioneer. My son Cole Robbins, a third-generation auctioneer, along with myself, are the 2 main auctioneers who manage our business. It wasn’t always this way. In 1962, my father Tom Robbins graduated from Reppert Auction School at the young age of 19. He built this business from the ground up and managed it until his death in 2024.

Tom taught Cole and me that to have a successful business, you need to treat people the way that you want to be treated. At Robbins Auctioneers & Real Estate, we continue to uphold Dad’s way of thinking and doing things. We are family-owned and operated, and many of our family members have a vital role to play in our business. In 2024, after Tom’s passing, we needed to have a new Broker. We joined forces with Loy Real Estate and Auction from Portland, Indiana. Aaron Loy is our broker for Ohio. Becoming a part of the Loy family has been very enjoyable, we go to Indiana to help with their auctions, and they come to Ohio to help us with ours. It has been a very successful partnership for both families.

We are a full-service auction company. We can auction anything that you need to have auctioned. We do real estate, farm ground, household, antiques, and we have even sold livestock. If it needs to be sold, we can sell it. Our goal is to make it easy for the seller. We can also list your real estate if you prefer to list it rather than auction it. We collaborate with many attorneys to sell estates.

How do you get started, you ask? Call either myself or Cole at the numbers listed on our website. We can answer some questions by phone but usually would set up a meeting to look at what needs to be sold. We then explain the entire procedure to you and what to expect. We understand that we do this every day, but this is most probably the first time you have had to do an auction. We want it to be a good experience. We do all the scheduling and advertising. We also have a mobile cashier office, and we accept cash, check, or credit card payment and have same-day auction settlement. We even bring our own food truck!!

Our auctions are fun, we do them in person, which means the bidders can be there to bid. Sometimes, we do add in Proxibid, which is an online auction added into the live auction. From the time we meet with you until we complete your auction, we want it to be an easy, enjoyable, and profitable experience.
